Adequate facilities are available for sports and physical education. The activities related to sports are looked after by a trained lecturer in physical education. There are facilities for indoor games in the college Sportsmen and Sportswomen joining the college are provided facilities like fee concession, allowances, sports kits, trousers etc. Sportsmen excelling in the inter university, inter regional and National competition are awarded prizes both in cash and kind on the eve of college day. A maximum of 3% of the seats are reserved for candidates who excel in sports and extracurricular activities. The college also provides incentive to students who have out standing performance in sports by way of fee concession. Students participating at national level competitions are given 50% fee concession and those participating at the state level and inter collegiate level are given 25% fee concession. In addition, the sports men/women are given daily allowance for participating in inter collegiate, inter university, state and national level competitions.
